About the role
Aya is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join an inpatient rehabilitation facility in Houston, TX.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
- Provide individual therapy sessions and group interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document progress notes and maintain patient records according to facility standards.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
- One year of recent clinical experience.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using Meditech charting system.
Skills
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in SLP.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective problem-solving abilities.
