About the role

Aya is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide inpatient rehabilitation services at a facility in Alamogordo, NM.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to address communication and swallowing difficulties.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient care coordination.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records according to facility policies and regulations.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New Mexico.
• One year of recent relevant clinical experience.
• Bilingual skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in computer software, including Cerner charting system.

Skills

• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology.
