About the role
Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist (Inpatient) for a 12‑week assignment in Springfield, MO. Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist; Discipline: Therapy. Start date: 10/05/2026. Employment type: Travel. The role involves providing inpatient rehabilitation services for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries, with a focus on improving patient outcomes in a specialized rehabilitation setting. The position requires strong teamwork, communication, responsibility, and a dedicated work ethic, and includes working with specialized equipment such as EKSO, InMotion UE Robotic, and Body weight support systems. Reporting time is 7:30 AM to Jess Loges, Therapy Manager.
Schedule
Days shift, 9 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Requirements
- Certifications as applicable
- Relevant education requirements
- Applicable state licensure
- 2 years of experience in IRF or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) settings
- Experience in inpatient rehabilitation or acute care settings
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with neuro, ortho, debility, cardiac, and other common diagnoses/treatments
