Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Provide speech therapy services within inpatient rehabilitation and nursing care settings
• Evaluate and guide patients using excellent communication and assessment skills
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited college or university by the American Speech and Hearing Association with a degree in Speech Language Pathology
• Current NYS license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Eligible for or holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association
• Two years of experience
• Knowledge of the Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM) reimbursement system
• Long-Term Care (LTC) experience
• Proficiency with MS Office and Epic EMR software

Schedule

• Day shift
• 8 hours per shift
• Minimum 40 hours per week
• Shift hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
