About the role

Speech Language Pathologist – Acute Care travel assignment in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Assignment begins November 23, 2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Setting: skilled nursing facility.

Pay

Weekly pay ranges from $2,541 to $2,612, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week.

Schedule

Shift: 08:00–16:30, 5 days per week (5x8).

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat adults with communication and swallowing disorders in an acute care or SNF setting
• Conduct bedside evaluations, establish prognosis, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapy sessions and document progress, goals, and discharge planning in patient records
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including nursing, PT/OT, dietitians, and physicians
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals, strategies, and home programs; support safe swallow and communication strategies
• Ensure infection control, patient safety, and accurate charting in line with facility policies

Requirements

• Active license to practice Speech-Language Pathology (Massachusetts)
• Willingness to work in a skilled nursing facility environment
• Experience with adult language and swallowing disorders is preferred
• Strong documentation and communication skills; ability to work within interdisciplinary teams
• Availability for a 13-week travel assignment starting 11/23/2026 and delivering at least 36 hours per week
