Travel assignment for a Speech Language Pathologist with Acute Care specialization in Franklin, New Hampshire. The role is a 13-week contract starting on 08/31/2026, working in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinical evaluations of speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing function for residents in the facility
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals; monitor progress and adjust as needed
  • Deliver speech-language pathology services according to the plan of care; document treatment, progress notes, and discharge planning
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (nursing, rehabilitation, social work) to support resident goals and care plans
  • Provide education to residents and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques; train facility staff as appropriate
  • Ensure accurate charting and compliance with regulatory and reimbursement requirements; maintain timely and complete documentation

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility setting and participate in an acute care-oriented rehabilitation environment
  • Demonstrated ability to assess and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Strong documentation skills and adherence to regulatory standards
  • Effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and support staff
  • Availability for a 5x8 shift (08:00–16:30) with guaranteed hours per week

Pay

Weekly pay ranges from $2,510 to $2,695.

Schedule

  • 13-week contract with potential extension based on facility needs and performance
  • Guaranteed hours: 35 per week
  • Shift: 5x8 days, 08:00–16:30
