Responsibilities
- Evaluates speech, language, cognitive, and communication impairments
- Evaluates swallowing, airway, clinical voice and resonance disorders
- Develops and administers speech therapy programs and treatments
- Patient and family education and the exercise of courtesy and patience in speaking with and assisting patients, families, and medical personnel
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited program in Speech Language Pathology
- Completed Certificate of Clinical Competence
- Current Speech-Language Pathology License / Licensure in the state of practice
- Current BLS certification
