About the role
Medlivo Therapy is seeking a travel Home Health Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Port Angeles, Washington.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech language therapy services to patients in their home environment.
- Assess and treat patients with various speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Document progress notes and report findings to supervising physicians.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nurses, therapists, and social workers.
Requirements
- Licensed in Washington as a Speech/Language Pathologist at the clinical level.
- Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association preferred.
- BLS certification required.
Qualifications
- One-year clinical experience in an acute care setting desired.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills in speech and language pathology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
