About the role
LanceSoft is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 14-week position starting September 6, 2026, at Kula, Hawaii.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech therapy services to patients in acute care settings.
- Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Active Hawaii SLP License
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent SLP experience within the last 3 years
- Adult Acute Care experience
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Passing score on the Praxis II exam for SLPs
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using speech-language pathology software
