Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $2,535 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for an immediate opening in Waynesville, Missouri. The position is a 13‑week travel assignment requiring 40 hours per week (8‑hour day shifts). The ideal candidate should have at least 6 months of experience, with one year preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of patients.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events.
• Report progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience as a Speech‑Language Pathologist (one year preferred; new grads encouraged).
• Current BLS certification.
• ASHA‑SLP National Certification.
• Valid state‑specific SLP license for Missouri.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting the assignment.
