About the role
Average of 13 weeks duration, 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day shift.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat issues with communication and swallowing for patients.
- Work directly with patients to provide therapy services.
- Show expertise in speech sounds, language development, fluency management, and dysphagia.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and families.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Massachusetts.
- At least 2 years of recent relevant experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Masters’ degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
Skills
- Proficiency in assessment and treatment of speech and language disorders.
- Knowledge of swallowing disorders and their management.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
8 hours per day, 5 days per week.
