Travel Speech-Language Pathologist - $2,406 per week

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech therapy services, including evaluation and treatment, to patients ranging from pediatric to older adults based on diagnosed conditions.

About the role

This is a 13-week temporary contract assignment with a shift of 5x8 days (40 hours per week). The role involves working in Montesano, Washington, and is ideal for a compassionate, detail-oriented professional with strong critical thinking and emergency response skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisors and team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
• Handle job responsibilities in line with the company’s Code of Business Conduct, corporate compliance agreement, professional standards, and applicable state/federal laws.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Graduate of a master’s-level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by the Education Standards Board or meeting ASHA certification requirements.
• Must possess independent decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
• At least 2 years of SLP experience.

Pay

Pay depends on location and experience, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined for this 8-hour shift, 40-hour-per-week assignment.
