About the role

The successful candidate will evaluate levels of speech, language, or swallowing difficulty, identify client goals for treatment, create and carry out an individualized treatment plan addressing specific functional needs, and teach clients how to make sounds, improve their voices, and maintain fluency.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Michigan.
  • Experience working with adult populations in an inpatient setting.
  • Knowledge of various communication disorders and treatment techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Passing scores on the Praxis II exam.
  • Current CPR certification.

Pay

The pay package is based on 9 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
