Travel Speech-Language Pathologist - $2,164 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Peru, Indiana. The position offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and is classified as a travel job.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with speech, voice, or swallowing impairments
• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders
• Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes
• Report progress and current status to appropriate parties
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• Must have 6 months of experience; new grads are encouraged to apply
• Must have BLS and ASHA-SLP National Certification with state-specific licensing
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty

Qualifications

• BLS
• 1 Year of Experience
