Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $2,125 per week

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech therapy services, including evaluation and treatment, to patients ranging from pediatric to older adults based on diagnosed conditions.

About the Role

This is a 13-week contract assignment with a 40-hour workweek and an 8-hour day shift. The position is based in Sun City Center, Florida, and is ideal for a Speech Language Pathologist looking for a travel opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisors and team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
• Handle job responsibilities in line with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance Agreement, and applicable state/federal laws.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Graduate of a master’s level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by the Education Standards Board or whose practice meets ASHA certification requirements.
• Must possess independent decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
• Compassionate, sensitive, and able to act quickly in emergencies.
• At least 2 years of SLP experience.

Pay

Pay depends on location and experience, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined for this 8-hour shift, 40-hour-per-week assignment.
