About the Role

Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in inpatient therapy for a facility located in Anchorage, Alaska. This role involves providing speech language pathology services within an acute care and inpatient rehabilitation setting. The assignment offers a rotating schedule with day shifts, including weekends, and is suitable for candidates with a strong team-oriented personality.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and swallowing assessments
• Utilize equipment such as FEES (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing), MBSS (Modified Barium Swallow Study), and the EMR system EPIC
• Work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team

Requirements

• Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Ability to obtain or current FEES and MBSS credentials
• Alaska state fingerprinting and background check clearance
• Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and weekend rotations

Qualifications

• 0 years minimum experience required
• Team player with a strong work ethic

Schedule

Days, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, 4 to 10-hour shifts, rotating to include weekends. Total of 40 hours per week.

• Number of Beds: 175
• Number of Staff: 11 SLPs (3 full-time, others PRN)

Assignment Length: 13 weeks, start date as soon as possible.
