Travel Speech-Language Pathologist - $2,084 per week

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech therapy services, including evaluation and treatment, to patients ranging from pediatric to older adults based on diagnosed conditions.

About the Role

This is a contract assignment for 13 weeks (temporary) with a schedule of 5x8 days. The role involves working 40 hours per week with 8-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapy to maximize speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisors and team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
• Handle job responsibilities in line with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance Agreement, and applicable professional standards and laws.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Graduate of a master’s level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by the Education Standards Board or meeting ASHA certification requirements.
• Must possess independent decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
• Compassionate, sensitive, and able to act quickly in emergencies.
• At least 2 years of SLP experience.

Pay

Pay depends on location and experience, with a competitive package for the right candidate. The pay package includes tax-free stipend amounts (to be determined) based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week.
