Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $1,970 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for an assignment in Kansas City, Missouri.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients for speech, hearing, and language deficits.
• Teach patients how to make sounds, improve their voices, or increase oral or written language skills.
• Teach individuals how to strengthen muscles or use compensatory strategies to swallow without choking or inhaling food or liquid.
• Provide skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Achieve realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop or recover reliable communication and swallowing skills.

Requirements

• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP or in the process of obtaining one.
• At least one year of professional working experience.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• CPR certification.
• CCC's.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
