About the role

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Kansas City, Missouri.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to patients in a hospital setting.
  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress and communicate with referring physicians and families.

Requirements

  • Current certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • BLS certification.
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in the relevant field.
  • A degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Valid state license or certification.

Qualifications

  • RN with at least 1 year of experience in the specialty.
  • Adventurous spirit and dedication to patient care.

Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
