Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $1,923 per week
About the role
Travel Speech Language Pathologist position in Brookville, Ohio. Assignment starts 08/24/2026, lasts 13 weeks, with a 40-hour work week (8-hour day shifts, 8 am to 5 pm). Minimum guaranteed hours: 32 hrs/week.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of patient care records for personal case load.
- Report correct billing information for Speech Therapy services.
- Provide direct patient care as prescribed, including evaluation and treatment planning.
- Report and interpret treatment results.
- Develop and present in-services for the facility as requested.
- Supervise support personnel in immediate work areas as appropriate.
- Perform clinical functions: screens, evaluations, development of treatment plans, and delivery of treatment in accordance with facility, Medicare, and Therapy Management Corporation's policies.
- Participate in meetings regarding patient care as appropriate.
- Assist with community education and public relations activities of the facility when appropriate.
- Educate patient's family and staff on specific treatment plans and therapy goals.
- Coordinate and cooperate with other staff members to carry out the established treatment plan.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology (minimum).
- Certification by the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
- State license in the designated geographic area for Speech Language Pathology.
- Ability to safely lift, turn, move, and transport patients (minimum 50 pounds for minimal assist transfers).
- Ability to perform tasks without posing a threat to the health or safety of self or others.
Pay
Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
