About the role

The client in Wichita, Kansas is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to work 32 hours per week, 8 hours per shift, on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting.
  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Document progress and communicate with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Adhere to all regulatory and ethical standards.

Requirements

  • Current license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Kansas.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility setting.
  • Knowledge of communication disorders and treatment techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to travel to various locations within the state of Kansas.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 32 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. The estimated weekly payment is intended for informational purposes and includes hourly wages, as well as reimbursements for meal & incidental expenses, and housing expenses incurred on behalf of the Company. Any benefits (medical/dental/vision) are in addition to the weekly pay.

Schedule

The position is available on a full-time basis, with 32 hours per week, 8 hours per shift, starting immediately (ASAP).
