Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $1,899 per week

About the role

The Anders Group is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment starting immediately at Odyssey - Cardinal Senior Living in Danville, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting.
• Assess and treat patients with various speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document progress notes and maintain accurate medical records.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Virginia.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility setting preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
• Passion for improving the quality of life for seniors through speech-language therapy.

Skills

• Proficiency in using speech-language pathology software.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid billing and coding.

Schedule

Shift: 8 hours, days
