About the role
A Special Procedures Technologist within our Interventional Radiology Lab at Banner University Medical Center-Phoenix.
Responsibilities
- Integral part of the team
- Specializes in venous, arterial, and non-endovascular procedures
- Performs angiograms, angioplasty, stent placements, neuro coiling, stroke thrombectomy, embolization of bleeds, Y-90 for liver cancer, ablations, and line placements for chemotherapy and hemodialysis
- Collaborates with highly skilled professionals including registered nurses, interventional radiologists, nuerointerventionalists, and advanced practice providers
Requirements
- Neuro experience required
- On Call requirements: 1 call shift a week and 1 call weekend every 6 weeks
Qualifications
- Highly skilled in performing various interventional procedures
- Experience in a high acuity setting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Skills
- Proficient in operating specialized equipment
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
