About the role
Access Healthcare is seeking a travel Special Procedures Technologist for a travel job in West Burlington, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Operate stationary radiographic equipment in the Heart and Vascular Center to demonstrate anatomical or physiological structures of the human body for diagnostic purposes.
- Produce quality images as directed by radiologists and physicians for the diagnosis or treatment of anatomic or physiologic disorders.
- Demonstrate knowledge of general anatomy, technical factors, CR and DR imaging fundamentals, radiation protection, and basic computer skills.
- Function to work independently and in a cooperative manner in teamwork oriented atmosphere within the department and hospital wide.
- Provide exceptional patient care and satisfaction skills to all customers of the Great River Health Systems.
- Demonstrate competence in X-ray procedures, Fluoroscopy, vascular procedures, cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures, and other special procedures.
Requirements
- Previous Epic EMR experience required within the last 12 months required.
Schedule
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 40 hours per week
- Shift: 8 hours, days
Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
