Travel Special Procedure Technician
Pulse Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Special Procedure Technician for a position in Phoenix, Arizona.
About the Role
As a Special Procedures Technologist within the Interventional Radiology Lab at Banner University Medical Center-Phoenix, you will be an integral part of the team. The facility is a Magnet-designated Academic Medical Center, Level 1 Trauma Center, and Comprehensive Stroke Center. The Interventional Radiology Lab specializes in high-acuity venous, arterial, and non-endovascular procedures, including:
- Angiograms
- Angioplasty
- Stent placements
- Neuro coiling
- Stroke thrombectomy
- Embolization of bleeds
- Y-90 for liver cancer
- Ablations
- Line placements for chemotherapy and hemodialysis
The IR team is collaborative and includes registered nurses, interventional radiologists, neurointerventionalists, advanced practice providers, and special procedure technologists. Neuro experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform special procedures within the Interventional Radiology Lab
- Support high-acuity venous, arterial, and non-endovascular procedures
- Participate in on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, 4 days per week
- 10-hour shifts (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM)
- 1 call shift per week
- 1 call weekend every 6 weeks
Pay
Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
