About the role

The position involves providing specialized instruction to students with severe disabilities within a school setting. The teacher will work closely with a team of educators, therapists, and administrators to develop and implement individualized educational plans.

Responsibilities

• Teach academic subjects tailored to each student’s needs
• Develop and implement individualized educational plans
• Collaborate with other professionals to provide comprehensive support to students
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
• Participate in regular meetings with parents and guardians to discuss student performance and goals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Valid state special education teaching certification
