About the role

The position involves providing specialized instruction to students with severe disabilities within a school setting. The teacher will work closely with a team of educators, therapists, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).

Responsibilities

• Teach academic subjects tailored to each student’s needs.
• Develop and implement IEPs to meet individual student goals.
• Collaborate with other professionals to provide a comprehensive educational program.
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Participate in regular meetings with parents and guardians to discuss student performance and progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or related field.
• State special education teaching certification.
