Responsibilities

• Teach academic subjects tailored to the needs of students with severe disabilities
• Develop and implement individualized education plans
• Collaborate with other professionals, including therapists and administrators, to support student progress
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Participate in IEP meetings and other professional development activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• State special education teaching certification

Qualifications
