Travel Social Work - Outpatient Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - $2,378 per week

About the role

Horizon Health is seeking a Social Work Outpatient Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for a travel assignment in Ocala, Florida. This is a 13-week outpatient travel therapist opportunity with potential to renew, offering a full-time schedule with enhanced hourly rates and tax-exempt stipends where applicable. This is an in-house travel program exclusive to select UHS behavioral health facilities across the country.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in meeting their psychosocial needs through various treatment modalities such as group therapy, family therapy, individual therapy, case management, education, etc.
• Coordinate treatment services and work with the multidisciplinary treatment team to drive the direction of the individual resident's treatment goals and interventions.
• Act as liaison between outside referral sources/guardians and facilitate after care placement and treatment services.
• Provide high-quality patient care, displaying good skills in assessment of patients' functional needs and outcomes; consult with and participate as part of the patients' treatment team.
• Work within a team environment to ensure that each treatment modality is appropriate for the patient.
• Complete and maintain all required documentation in a timely manner consistent with policies and regulations.

Requirements

• Education: Master's degree from an accredited school in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology.
• Licensure/Certifications: Licensed in the state of Florida as a LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC.
• Experience: Two years of experience in a psychiatric health care facility with direct experience in family and group therapies and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills, adolescent drug addiction experience highly desired.

Pay & Schedule

• Duration: 13 weeks with potential to renew.
• Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week, 5x8 schedule, weekend rotation.
• Shift: Day shift, 8 hours.
• Enhanced hourly rate & tax-exempt stipend where applicable.
• Bi-weekly pay.
• Estimated pay rate: $2,114-$2,378/week.
