About the role
This is a 13-week (90-day) assignment for a Licensed Medical Social Worker supporting patients in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU).
Responsibilities
- Provide psychosocial assessments
- Discharge planning
- Crisis intervention
- Care coordination for critically ill patients
- Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary critical care team
Requirements
- Recent hospital social work experience in Critical Care/ICU
- EPIC experience
- Active Maryland LMSW or LCSW-C license
- BLS from AHA
