Travel SLP Inpatient Rehab - $2,177 per week

About the role

Travel Speech Language Pathologist position in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. Duration: 13 weeks, 40 hours per week on an 8-hour day shift. Employment Type: Travel.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans tailored to diverse patient populations in the acute care setting.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events.
• Report progress and current status to appropriate parties (e.g., family members, teachers, medical professionals).
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• BLS and ASHA-SLP National Certification with state-specific licensing required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods without difficulty.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
