Travel SLP Inpatient Rehab - $2,347 per week

About the Role

American Traveler is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, starting on December 7, 2026. The role is based in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital with a supportive work environment, offering opportunities for training and recognition.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting with 36 beds.
• Manage patients with an average stay of approximately 14 days.
• Work day shifts, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Utilize the Cerner charting system for documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), with rehab experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Valid state SLP license.
• Adult Rehabilitation Facility experience required.
• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred.
• Travel healthcare experience required.
• Proof of license required at time of consideration.

Additional Information

• First-time travelers and local candidates are accepted.
• Business casual attire or solid color scrubs with closed-toe shoes required.
• Free on-site parking available.
• Requested time off must be submitted and approved prior to starting the assignment, with no additional time off approved afterward.
• Cannot request every holiday off.
• Any call-outs must be reported with more than 24 hours' notice.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of SLP experience.
• Valid state SLP license.
• Current BLS certification.

Skills

• Proficiency in inpatient rehabilitation settings.
• Experience with adult rehabilitation and skilled nursing facilities.
• Familiarity with the Cerner charting system.
