MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse for a Long-Term Care (LTC) Skilled Nursing assignment in Janesville, Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

Long-term care nurses provide extended care to patients living with disabilities or suffering from progressive or chronic illnesses. Duties include:

• Assisting patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing and dressing
• Recording vital signs and administering medications
• Completing assignments made by physicians
• Providing routine treatment and assessing changes in patient health status
• Performing various treatments as required
• Meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care

Due to the broad range of medical conditions encountered, long-term care nurses must be well-versed in a large variety of health conditions.

Requirements

• Active RN or LPN License
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS Certification
• Eighteen months of recent experience in a Long-Term Care setting
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client’s facility
