About the role
CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week contract starting July 12, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting.
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Iowa.
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility setting preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of communication disorders and their treatment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Passing score on the Praxis II exam or equivalent.
- Current CPR certification.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems (EMR), specifically Nethealth/PCC.

Pay
The bill rate is $80 per hour, with potential for additional compensation through meal and incidental expenses, and housing support.
Schedule
Days shift, 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts.
