Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a travel SLP and use your skills where they’re needed most. You’ll help patients improve communication and swallowing disorders while exploring a new part of the country.
Location highlights: Puyallup offers access to South Hill shopping areas and the Washington State Fair Events Center, both within the city, making it a practical fit for clinicians who want suburban convenience and local entertainment. Mount Rainier National Park is about 35 miles east, and downtown Tacoma is roughly 15 miles west, offering options for hiking, sightseeing, and waterfront visits on days off. The city is served by the Sounder train with connections to Seattle, and nearby Pioneer Park and the Puyallup River corridor provide outdoor space close to residential neighborhoods. Puyallup combines a quieter residential setting with access to Tacoma and Seattle, giving travelers a balance of local amenities and regional attractions.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
- Completed CFY and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
- Active State License is required to start the assignment
- BLS Certification may be required from AHA or ARC
