A 14-week contract position at a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) in Danville, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Treatment of patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Evaluation and treatment of cognitive impairments
- Collaboration with interdisciplinary team members
- Documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
Requirements
- Current California Speech-Language Pathologist license
- AHA/ARC - CPR/ BLS card
- Covid Vaccine Card
Qualifications
- Experience working in an SNF setting preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Skills
- Skilled in assessment and treatment of speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Proficient in cognitive assessments and interventions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
