About the role
Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Speech Language Pathologist to make a significant impact in St. Louis, MO. This on-site position offers a 13-week assignment with day shifts up to 40 hours per week in a skilled nursing facility setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients' communication needs and swallowing needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapy to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Implement interventions in various settings, including outpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing facilities
- Participate in discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care for continued support
Requirements
- A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- MO licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Pay
$1,931.3 - $1,991.03 per week
