Responsibilities

• Assess patients' communication needs and swallowing needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapy to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Implement interventions in various settings, including outpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing facilities
• Participate in discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care for continued support

Requirements

• A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• VA licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist

This is a travel position located in Tazewell, VA.

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks

Pay

$1,847.57 - $1,904.71 per week (subject to confirmation with tax-free stipend amount to be determined).
