Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Athens, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' communication needs and swallowing needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapy to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques
• Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Implement interventions in various settings, including outpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing facilities
• Participate in discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care for continued support

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• TX licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist

Pay

$1,928.3 – $1,987.94 / week. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

8 hours, days – up to 40.00 hours per week. Assignment Length: 12 weeks. Start Date: ASAP.
