Travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,812 per week
About the role
Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Pendleton, Oregon.
Responsibilities
- Work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Document patient progress and treatment sessions using EMR systems such as PCC and Net Health.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
- Active State License to start the assignment.
- BLS Certification from AHA or ARC (may be required).
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include:
- Experience in a SNF setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for improving patient outcomes through physical therapy.
Skills
- Proficiency in using EMR systems (PCC & Net Health).
- Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
5 days a week, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.

Pendleton, Oregon offers access to outdoor recreation and regional travel. Nearby attractions include Hat Rock State Park (about 30 minutes away) and the Washington state line (about 1 hour from Pendleton). The city is home to the Pendleton Round-Up grounds and the Pendleton Center for the Arts, providing travelers with both local heritage and arts programming. Pendleton sits along Interstate 84 in northeastern Oregon, supporting road access to the Columbia River region and nearby small-town communities.
