Travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,780 per week
About the role
CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week contract starting ASAP in Turlock, California.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve their mobility and strength.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in California.
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
- Experience in SNF setting preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- PTA certification from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations governing physical therapy.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in the EMR system.

Pay
The bill rate is negotiable and based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. The estimated weekly payment is intended for informational purposes and includes hourly wages, meal & incidental expenses, and housing expenses incurred on behalf of the Company. Any benefits (medical/dental/vision) are in addition to the weekly pay.
Schedule
40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, with potential to extend.
