About the role
Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting in Concord, California.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists
- Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient function and mobility
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist
- Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and safety measures
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and progress
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
- Support discharge planning and facilitate continuity of care as needed
Qualifications
- Completion of accredited PTA program
- Completion of National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
- CA PTA licensure/certification
- First Aid Certifications (BLS) strongly recommended

- Pay: $1,747.75 – $1,801.80 / week

- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
