Travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,675 per week

Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting in Fullerton, California.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists
• Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient function and mobility
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist
• Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and safety measures
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and progress
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
• Support discharge planning and facilitate continuity of care as needed

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited PTA program
• Completion of National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
• CA PTA licensure/certification
• First Aid Certifications (BLS) strongly recommended

Schedule

• Start Date: 08/17/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8 hours, days
• Up to 40.00 hours per week

Pay

• $1,649.67 – $1,700.69 / week
• Pay package based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined
