Pioneer Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Fullerton, California. Start date: 09/21/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Shift: 8 hours, days (up to 40 hours per week). Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). Workplace: On‑site.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing personalized treatment plans developed by physical therapists
• Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve patient function and mobility
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist
• Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and safety measures
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient sessions and progress
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care
• Support discharge planning and facilitate continuity of care as needed

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited PTA program
• Completion of National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
• CA PTA licensure/certification
• First Aid Certifications (BLS) strongly recommended
