Travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,550 per week

About the role

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) position in a skilled nursing facility setting located in Kerrville, Texas. The PTA provides rehabilitative and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision and guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

• Execute treatment plans and provide therapeutic interventions.
• Assess patient progress and document care accurately.
• Participate in care conferences, team meetings, and trainings.
• Supervise students under the guidance of a Physical Therapist.
• Collaborate closely with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas State Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Minimum of 1 year PTA experience (new graduates with Level II experience are encouraged to apply).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in long‑term care or rehabilitation settings, especially skilled nursing facilities.
• Familiarity with electronic documentation systems and regulatory documentation requirements.

Pay

Compensation is based on 8‑hour shifts and a 40‑hour work week; a tax‑free stipend amount will be determined.

Schedule

8‑hour day shifts, minimum 40 hours per week, starting 10/19/2026 and ending 01/18/2027 (13‑week assignment).
