About the role

CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment starting July 27, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional patient care in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
  • Assist licensed physical therapists in performing therapeutic exercises and treatments.
  • Help patients maintain or improve their physical function and mobility.
  • Document patient progress and communicate with other healthcare providers as needed.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of South Carolina.
  • At least one year of recent relevant experience in a SNF setting.
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology and anatomy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a recognized Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).

Skills

  • Proficiency in using medical equipment and devices.
  • Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Good organizational and record-keeping skills.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. The estimated weekly payment includes hourly wages, meal & incidental expenses, and housing expenses incurred on behalf of the Company. Any benefits (medical/dental/vision) are in addition to the weekly pay.

Schedule

The position is a 40-hour per week, 8-hour shift schedule, with potential for extension.
