About the role
Medlivo Therapy is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week contract in Gambrills, Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- Assist patients with exercises and activities to improve their physical function and mobility.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with medical records policies.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during all procedures.
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant License.
- BLS via American Heart Association certification.
- State license/certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant required.
- Experience working in a SNF setting.
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using medical equipment and devices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
