Travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,430 per week
About the role
Travel Physical Therapy Assistant position in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting in Marlborough, Massachusetts. This role involves providing rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders under the supervision and direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. The position emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient assessment, documentation, and collaboration with the healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Support clinical interventions and administer procedures such as manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive devices.
- Assess patient progress and document treatment sessions.
- Communicate with supervising Physical Therapist.
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and conferences.
- Support supervision of students and adhere to professional practice acts, ethics, and clinical policies.
- Float rotation may be required.
Requirements
- Active State Licensure in Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 1 year of Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) experience in long-term care or rehabilitation.
- PTA license.
Schedule
- Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Duration: 13 weeks.
- Start Date: 08/31/2026.

Pay
Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
