About the role
A physical therapist specializing in skilled nursing facility care is needed for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment
- Perform therapeutic exercises and treatments to improve patients' functional abilities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
Requirements
- Current license to practice physical therapy in Massachusetts
- Experience working in skilled nursing facilities preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Master's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program
- Passing score on the national physical therapy exam
- At least one year of clinical experience
