Responsibilities

• Assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapy to enhance functional abilities and promote independence
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and families on adaptive strategies and equipment use
• Monitor and document patient progress and treatment outcomes
• Implement interventions in various settings
• Participate in discharge planning and transitional care coordination

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• VA Occupational Therapy Licensure

Pay

$1,564.16 – $1,612.54 per week, based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Day shift, up to 40.00 hours per week. Assignment length: 13 weeks. Start date: 08/17/2026. On-site setting in Emporia, VA.
